trick or treat
I quickly made this card this morning for one of my swaps. I should have maybe done a different background inside of the boxes and lines. Oh well, it still looks okay. Most of my cards look simple like this anyway. I don’t like to do too much embellishment.
As for my two job interviews, they both went pretty good. Yesterday was the one at the Beverage Factory – the guy I interviewed kept commenting on how he was impressed with my skill set and appreciated that I also had a background in journalism, since there was some copywriting involved in the position.
The job I had today, at NIC Media, was really good. I was practically a shoo-in for this job. The commute for this one is longer, the pay is less, but there’s the potential for bonuses and growth and to develop web sites in the future after she gets a feeling for how I work and trusts me.
The Beverage Factory said they’d make their decision tomorrow and NIC Media (which is actually just one woman) asked me to email her tomorrow to let her know if I’m offered the other position. So, the way I see it, no use deciding between the two until I’m offered positions. Mmm, steady work.
