time killer
You’re getting sleepy at work. What better way to try and wake yourself up with a little blogging action? That almost sounds hot. I’ve been busy lately. I saw They Might Be Giants at the Belly Up recently. I actually went out dancing at a place called the Air Conditioned Lounge which was cooler than I thought it would be with its very retro chic décor. It didn’t even remotely remind me of Plan B in Pacific Beach which used to scare me when I walked by with its fog machine and laser lights. Definitely more my style. Last night Jacob and I went to a Padres vs. Dodgers game. It was pretty damn cool. I forgot how much I enjoy going to the ballpark. I feel like I got a workout just trying to get to our seats up in the bleachers, but it was a good time, despite the rowdy Dodgers fan around us who shut up after we scored a run to win the game. Woo!
Here’s some other random information just for kicks:
Last thing I ate: a package of gem crumb donuts. Probably not the best way to start a morning, but damn, they are tasty.
Book I am currently reading: Love in the Time of Cholera, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. But I am about to switch over to Book #5 of Harry Potter in anticipation of the movie
Last movie I saw: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Excellent. Stay through the end of the credits if you haven’t seen it already.
Currently listening to: “Unmarked Helicopters†by Soul Coughing. The iPod is on shuffle.
Crafty things I’m working on: Some “Star Wars†bottle cap magnets (I love bottle cap magnets). I also got a plain t-shirt for pretty cheap that I plan on doing an iron-on transfer with, but I have to find my iron-on transfers… and I have no idea where they are. Probably underneath something. I also have a couple of swaps to work on, one being gathering a collection of 10 things of my favorite color (green!). I just like swaps.
I wish: I was still asleep in bed. I could use a couple more hours of sleepy time.
For lunch: I don’t know what I’ll be having for lunch. I didn’t have time to make my lunch this morning. I’ve been on a streak for getting the $1 loco salad at El Pollo Loco lately. It’s tasty and it costs a dollar. Hell yes.
