current obsessions
I was going to say “preoccupations” or “favorites”, but really, they’re obsessions.
Food-wise: Last week I had a little thing with Mexican food. I think I had it five times last week – that is, just about every time I went out to eat, I had Mexican. I’m pretty sure I’m over that one now.
Music-wise: I just discoved the song “How to be Dead” by Snow Patrol and I’ve listened to it multiple times today. I made a little “on the go” playlist today of all the newer music I’ve been listening to today and listened to just that list (30 songs) all day. Yeah. I don’t know, when I really start to dig a song, I just want to put it on repeat and listen to it over and over again. It takes me about that long to learn all the words anyway. Though, even with as many times I’ve listened to that Snow Patrol song, I don’t know the words to it yet. Maybe in another day or two… Also very into the band “Say Anything” and “Plain White T’s” right now. Oh, and the Killers. But I think a lot of people are way into the Killers. I’m just late to the game.
Game-wise: Hotel Dusk. I just finished it last night. It is awesome, if you like mysteries and noir-type things. If you are looking for an action packed game though… well, this doesn’t really fit that bill. But its got puzzles. And you hold your DS sidewides like a novel. Neat. Need something new to obsess over in this department.
TV-wise: I was really into Six Feet Under and watching them all on Bravo – but watching things edited sucks. And the first season was on HBO on demand, which excited me greatly. But now there are no more on demand. Sigh. Am I going to be forced to rent the rest of the seasons? What a bummer.
Eye-candy-wise: Liev Schreiber. Thank you, CSI.
Crafts-wise: Been wanting to make more bottle cap magnets. I made some not too long ago for the boy and I want to make some more. The boy actually had a brilliant idea to make up a whole bunch and then just leave them places. Because while I do want to make more – what do I do with all of them? My need for magnets is not very great and I’m pretty sure everyone I know has already received magnets from me. So why not just leave them places for strangers? Awesome. Now, to just actually make em…
