it wasn’t a very exciting weekend for me, but unexciting does not mean not enjoyable. i’m one of those people who’s perfectly content doing things alone. of course i’d rather have the company of a friend, when available. sometimes though i think, why, who would want to do all the things i want to do this weekend? a friend pointed out to me once that it doesn’t matter, that whoever i hung out with wouldn’t care what we did and that hanging out was what mattered. it was a good point.<\/p>\n
\nin any case, it was a usual weekend routine. maya and i went to the farmer’s market and instead of just getting tamales, i also got some fresh zucchini (one was a light green and the other one was bright yellow and looked like a oversized spinning top). then we went off to the dog park though there was an usually high number of people there and i could hardly park. i found out they were having a swim meet. i also watched a couple of movies. “in her shoes” and “the chronicles of naria”. i liked both. the end. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
