I love the internet because it lets me do a whole lot more indie shopping. Indie crafters and designers make some of the most original and creative stuff out there. These are things you won’t find at your local Wal-Mart.

Last year I did almost all of my holiday shopping at Indie outlets. I love finding really cool, creative, and original gifts for my friends and Indie crafters just have the best stuff. I aspire to be an Indie crafter in the future. I just have to a) come up with ideas, b) implement these ideas and c) not be so damn lazy. Thanks goodness for indie crafts! Here are a few of my favorite finds.

Felt Donuts from SewDorky
I don't know what I would do with a felt donut, but I want one.

Flower in a Can from Doe
Live in an apartment and can't have a garden? Get flowers in a can! I think I want one for my desk.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Lip Balm from Bag Lunch
I don't think I've seen this flavor combination before in a lip balm. I bet it's delicious.

Suicide Kittens from Suicide Kittens
These are just too cute, in that "deathy" kind of way.

Condom Cozy from Poppy Red
For all those times you wished you had a nicer way to store your stash of condoms, but didn't have any ideas for how to do it.

"Hung Over" Eye Quilt from Hambone and Jennicakes
Don't let any pesky light interfere with your hang over the next day.

Corsets for Dolls from Mio Designs
Dress your dolls in that victorian bondage kind of way.

Photo Charms from Magpie Molly
I love to wear these as pendants.

Scrabble Stitch Markers from Piddleloop
If I ever knitted, I'd want these.

Pirate Skirt from Blackbird Fashion
Not only is this coolest skirt ever, but they also offer plus sizes.

Baked Bread Scented Candles from Becca Lights
There used to be a "fire" scent that I really loved, but this one is awesome, too!

Punk Feto Soap
Yes, it's soap with a fetus in it. A punk fetus. Oi oi!

Food Zines from Whammy! Industries
I like cooking. I like recipes. I like food zines.

Collar Dog Tags from Boomerang Tags
These dog tags slip onto your dog's adjustable collar. They don't hang down and stay securely on your dog's collar. This is the dog tag I got for Maya.

Make Your Own Doggy Treats from Lindsay Designs
I haven't tried these yet, but I really want to. You pick a flavor and make these treats yourself with the mix that they send you. I already have a bone cookie cutter, now I just need to make the treats!
