i
know alyssa discovered pretend ears before i ever did, but that doesn't
give her dibs on a review. i think my first pair of ears was my "eeyore
ears" that i aquired from disneyland about a year ago.
alyssa got
some gorilla ears at the same time, but i'm pretty sure that wasn't her
first pair. anyway, for some reason it was almost thrilling to wear eeyore
ears. of course, being at disneyland about a thousand other teenage girls
were also wearing them and that wasn't so cool. wearing them out and about
in san diego though with your friend who's toting satan horns is fun though.
so
what's so great about pretend ears? i don't know. they make me feel like
a kid again. you get all kinds of weird reactions from strangers when
you were some, especially drunk strangers (try wearing bunny ears on st.
patricks day - oy.) they're just plain fun and i enjoy acting silly. i
guess i really like the reactions i get as well. you just don't usually
see people our age walking around with pretend ears. i think more people
should wear some and stop acting so serious all the time.
besides my eeyore ears, i have
also aquired: scarecrow ears, a christmas tree, reindeer antlers and bunny
ears. hopefully my local target will stock up on more ears soon, or maybe
i'll head on over to the
pretend ears site and purchase a few choice items. mmm. i
think those googly eyed frog ears are calling my name.
