I'm not really the type of person who
cares a lot about drinking bottled water. Any kind of
water is good to me just as long as I don't suffer and
die and its not salted or polluted in any way.
I've
always thought people who drank only the expensive Evian
waters or whatever the hell else they have these days
were just wasting their money while I saved my dollar and
odd change for a well-deserved soda. But I must say since
Dasani water started appearing in my house, I've been
drinking it a whole lot. It's not really in a fancy
looking bottle and it has a nice blue theme about it, and
I just like it. That's not to say that from now until I
die I'll only drink Dasani, but hey, if I'm dying of
thrist and want bottled water, there's a brand name I'll
choose now instead of going for the cheapest one and
using that one bottle over and over again until the
plastic becomes too deformed to keep on using.
I will say
this though: those Dasani commericals of that woman
daydreaming she's on the beach and then asking for
another Dasani by name is pretty lame. I don't daydream
about tropical beaches because of bottled water: I
daydream about tropical beaches because that's where I'd
rather be. And if I want water, I'd say, "Can I have
some more water?" not "Can I have another
Dasani?". |
